In checking out my YouTube Healing from Gun Shots I found stories called Beyond the Bullet. These stories come from members of Philadelphia’s Gun Violence Support Group.
A bullet landed in Jaleel’s spine at 8 years of age. He’s been in a wheel chair or on crutches ever since.
Jaleel photographs for a living. After the shooting Jaleel describes how his mother 5’4” 130 pounds carried 8 year old Jaleel on her back as she held Jaleel’s 2 year old sister. She wanted to get Jaleel to the doctor and walked up numerous steps carrying both children. Jaleel struggles to forgive the man who shot him. He helped start a support group for those paralyzed by gunshots.
We need to end Gun Violence so this Havoc of being shot Stops.
